Can't I just let A.I. plan this for me?
A.I. has never eaten at a restaurant. A.I. algorithms are biased towards information that is prevalent on the internet. But a lot of great travel experiences have little or no digital footprint. A.I. won't find these. A.I. is a great tool. But it is not a substitute for experience.
I've heard about a lot of new travel restrictions to Europe. Should I be worried?
ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is now required for US citizens traveling to the UK. The EU will be rolling out their program (ETIAS) at the end of 2026. There are also new screening protocols involving biometrics (EES.) But no, you should not be worried. We will guide you through the processes, and it takes a minimal amount of time and money.
Do I need travel insurance?
The quick answer is... maybe. There are many reasons why a person may choose to insure their trip. We get no commission on travel insurance (or anything else!) so we will discuss the pros and cons with you and determine whether travel insurance is something you should get.
I don't have time to plan the whole trip, but I like figuring out where I want to stay.
Many people like to help plan their trip, or have specific things in mind. That's great. We love collaboration. And we will still work with you to find the best rates.
What if I want to stay at a specific hotel chain?
One of the things that goes into your client profile is a list of rewards programs where you are a member. We always take that into account when we are booking elements of your trip.
Why shouldn't I use a travel agent?
Maybe you should! And if so, we will advise you in that direction. Travel agents can be very effective for things like cruises, Disney trips, and larger tours. The Curated Trip is for people who are comfortable managing their own trip with our assistance. But if you are the kind of traveler who would prefer to just show up and have everything done for you, that's okay too.
What if I'm not satisfied?
We bill in installments. If at any point in the process you don't see the value, or you decide to cancel the trip or go in a different direction, you walk away with no further obligation.
